Theresa Vilsmaier

Theresa Vilsmaier (born June 8, 1989, in Munich) is a former German film actress who now works as a physician. She is the daughter of Czech actress Dana Vávrová and German director Joseph Vilsmaier. Her sisters, Janina Vilsmaier and Josefina Vilsmaier, also work as actresses. Vilsmaier grew up multilingual and attended the Bavarian International School in Haimhausen. In the autumn of 2008, she began studying law in London. However, due to her mother's battle with cancer, she returned to Germany after her first semester. Following her mother's death, she changed her field of study and began medical school at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich (LMU). On February 9, 2011, she passed her First State Examination.
