
A Syrian actress, considered the most famous in the history of Syrian cinema, and had a great role in establishing a real film industry in Syria that lasted from the mid-sixties to the early nineties. She began acting at the age of 16 in Egypt before returning to Syria to become a symbol of cinema in her country. She participated in many films produced by the public and private sectors, with her film credit exceeding 35 films. In addition to her work as an actress, she wrote screenplays, and then tried directing in more than one film in which she also starred.
