Hans-Michael Rehberg
Hans-Michael Rehberg (born April 2, 1938, in Fürstenwalde/Spree; died November 7, 2017, in Berlin) was a German actor and director. Hans-Michael Rehberg completed his acting training from 1956 to 1958 at the Folkwang School in Essen. After early engagements at the *Vereinigte Städtische Bühnen Krefeld-Mönchengladbach* and the *Landesbühne Schleswig*, he became a member of the ensemble at the *Bayerisches Staatsschauspiel* (Bavarian State Theater) at the age of just 25, remaining with the company until 1972. Further milestones in his theater career included the *Münchner Kammerspiele*, the *Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg*, and *Schauspiel Köln*, where he also served for a time as co-director. Over the course of his career, Rehberg collaborated with numerous renowned directors, including Ingmar Bergman, Peter Zadek, Claus Peymann, Luc Bondy, and Andrea Breth.
